Scholarships

Congratulations to the 2020 scholarship recipients (see below).  2021 scholarship applications are now available.

2021 Scholarship Information

Each year, Racine AAUW awards scholarships to a Racine County woman who is entering the first or second semester of her junior or senior year at a four-year accredited, degree-granting college or university and a Racine County woman entering her third or fourth semester at a two-year college the following fall.

Application materials are available by clicking on the links below. The deadline for applying is usually in February of the year in which the scholarships are awarded.

Racine AAUW has established an endowment fund at the Racine Community Foundation to ensure that the organization can award scholarships to future generations.

Racine AAUW has also awarded grants to local nonprofit agencies to help women take their GED tests.

On a national level, the Racine Branch also contributes funds for fellowships through AAUW.

Application cannot be saved so must be completed and submitted in one session.  Successful  submission of your application will be acknowledged by email.

Application and supporting materials can be mailed to the address listed on the instruction sheet.

Note:  National Conference for College Women Student Leaders Conference (NCCWSL):  AAUW-Wisconsin is offering 12 scholarships to the 2021 NCCWSL Conference which will be held virtually on May 25-26 this year.  The application is to be filled out in partnership with a Racine branch member and returned to the Racine scholarship committee by February 15.
